Blue Lagoon is an Akamas coastal destination reached by sea or a land approach. This is a desk check of published sources, **not today’s road or sea inspection**. No claim of safe swimming or unrestricted vehicle access is made.

## What we currently know

- Boat hire and cruises depart from Latchi. Confirm departure, weather cancellation arrangements, boarding access and the actual swim stop with your operator before booking.
- The Audit Office’s April 2026 inspection raised serious concerns about the Baths of Aphrodite–Fontana Amorosa road and its dangerous use. Do not read a navigation app’s route as approval to drive this coast.
- Bus **622** serves Polis–Prodromi–Latchi–Baths of Aphrodite. Its published endpoint is the Baths, not Blue Lagoon; arrange the onward journey separately.
- Our planning advice: carry water and sun protection, assess the sea on arrival and follow the skipper’s instructions. Ask a hire-boat operator to explain the permitted cruising boundary before departure.
