Current verified snapshot — checked 2 October 2026
Cyprus Ports Authority describes Latchi as a working harbour with fishing and leisure-boat basins and pedestrian areas. Operator pages establish that boat activities depart here; they do not establish a single meeting point for every booking.
This is a published-source check, not physical Love Akamas field verification.
What we currently know
- Check the boat and operator name, not simply “Blue Lagoon trip”. Latchi Charters gives its base as Latchi Marina; Atlantis identifies Latchi Harbour as both departure and return point. Confirm the exact desk, pier and check-in time on your booking.
- The Ports Authority describes the old basin’s fishing role and the newer basin’s leisure-boat role. Keep working access and berths clear.
- The official public bus route 622 connects Polis, Prodromi, Latchi and Baths of Aphrodite. Use its live stop map for the stop closest to your operator rather than assuming the bus stops at the boat.
- Parking: no current primary source checked here establishes a particular harbour car park’s tariff or time limit. Read the sign at the entrance and keep any ticket. A map label or an older visitor review is not proof of free parking.
- Practical planning advice: arrive with time to park, find the correct desk and walk to the berth. Ask about gangways, steps and luggage before bringing mobility equipment.
Sources / evidence
Checked 2 October 2026:
- Cyprus Ports Authority: Latchi Port — harbour layout and public pedestrian areas; descriptive page, not a current construction bulletin.
- Latchi Charters: half-day charter — published marina base.
- Atlantis: FAQ — departure/return harbour.
- Pafos Buses: 622 — bus route and linked stop maps.
What remains uncertain / needs field checking
Current parking boundaries/charges, disabled spaces, drop-off access, road works, public toilets and a continuous step-free route to each berth are unverified. A toilet on a boat or in a restaurant is not necessarily a public harbour facility. Confirm any essential facility with your operator before leaving home.
Add newer first-hand evidence
Please provide visit date/time, exact car park or pier, a photograph of parking/wayfinding signs, and what was actually open or usable. Avoid photographing passengers or vehicle registrations unnecessarily.
