Pafos bus information checks: night fares and route 623 through Latchi

Current verified snapshot — checked 2 October 2026

The operator’s own pages contain two specific inconsistencies worth resolving. This topic records what the webpages say, not a verified correction to fares or stop operation. The existing bus guide avoids quoting a single night fare.

This is a published-source check, not physical Love Akamas field verification.

What we currently know

1. Night fare

The Pafos Buses ticket table gives a night one-way fare after 21:00 of €3.00. The detailed paper-ticket text lower on the same page describes a maximum night charge of €3.50, and a slightly different time interval. These cannot both be treated as the same unqualified current fare.

The table and paper-ticket description agree on €2.00 daytime one-way and €6.50 daily. That agreement does not resolve the night inconsistency, ticket eligibility or card-transfer rules. Ask the operator for the current fare/ticket type before relying on it.

2. Route 623 / Latchi

The 623 route description includes Polis–Prodromi–Latchi–Neo Chorio. Its abbreviated bus-stop sequence heading omits Latchi. An abbreviated heading may be incomplete, so it is not evidence by itself that Latchi is no longer served. Check the live direction-specific map and confirm the actual stop ID/boardable departure with the operator.

Resolution we need

A dated operator clarification identifying the fare type and effective date, and the route 623 stops in each direction. If a timetable or sign changes, record both the old source and the replacement; do not generalise a change to other routes.

Public operator contact: 8000 5588, info@pafosbuses.com. No email or other enquiry has been sent as part of this topic; a website check is not business confirmation.

Sources / evidence

Checked 2 October 2026:

What remains uncertain / needs field checking

The correct applicable night fare and specific 623 Latchi stops remain unconfirmed. Neither figure is marked outdated without evidence of an effective replacement. One driver’s charge or one bus sighting is useful evidence but may not settle every ticket/service case.

Add newer first-hand evidence

Please share a dated operator reply, current fare notice or ticket with personal details removed. For 623, include date, direction, stop ID/name, scheduled time and whether you actually boarded. A photo of a stop sign alone does not establish today’s route service.
